Hi, I'm Lea.
I am currently a D4 at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. I am passionate about environmental sustainability, especially incorporating this into the dental field.

I found that there are a lot of helpful resources for studying for the DAT and improving your dental school application. But the interview was a bit mysterious to me. I had a few practice interviews that greatly helped me succeed in my real interviews. We created this resource for pre-dental students to master the most important skills for interviews and dentistry in general!

Hi, I'm Michael.
I am also currently a D4 at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. I enjoy being able to work with my hands and be outside as much as I can.

During my interview season I had several key mentors that were able to guide me through the interview process, giving me tips and direction on how to be successful. Prior to interview season, learning from dental students and recent grads proved to be the most influential part of my experience. I hope to be that mentor that can offer my experiences and guidance in order to help you succeed!

Hi, I'm Rachel.
I am currently a D2 at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. I am an Ann Arbor native who enjoys cooking, being with friends, and reality television.
Working with mentors currently in dental school was instrumental to my success throughout the application cycle. This is the single biggest piece of advice I would recommend to those going through the process, particularly during the interview stage. The interview cycle can be an extremely stressful time, but it does not need to be if you prepare the right way. I am excited to give pre-dental students the same mentorship and guidance I received in order to be successful in their interviews!

Hi, I'm Dana.
I am currently in my D4 year at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. My passions include cooking, socializing, and working with different special needs communities locally and globally.

While applying to dental school I utilized mentors to help guide me through the application process. Their familiarity and experience with personal statements, extra curriculars, and the interview process at each school allowed me to go into my interviews as confident as possible. I feel that every applicant can benefit from having personalized help in order to achieve their special goals. The benefit of having a mentor who has been through the process themselves is unparalleled. I am very excited to be part of the Tooth Talk team and pass along all of the knowledge I have gained to future dental students!
